Hut-to-hut-hike

Description

This popular hut circuit offers spectacular views of the Sexten Sundial, including the peaks of Elfer, Zwölfer, and Einser, as well as the famous Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo). The hike starts in the Fischleintal Valley and leads first to Talschlusshütte, then on to Zsigmondyhütte, Büllelejochhütte, and Drei-Zinnen-Hütte before returning to the valley. Along the route, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking alpine scenery and some of the most impressive viewpoints in the Sexten Dolomites.

Tips and important information

• Access by bus or car to the Fischleinboden parking area, where the hike begins
• Long day hike – bring sufficient water, snacks, and sun protection
• Starting early in the morning is highly recommended
• Several mountain huts along the route offer food and refreshments
• Well-maintained trails, but not suitable for strollers
• Good fitness level and sure-footedness required
• Check the weather forecast before starting, as mountain weather can change quickly
