Tyrolean earthiness or Mediterranean lightness?

At the Family Resort Rainer, you’ll enjoy a harmonious blend of both culinary worlds. The kitchen team at the Familienhotel Rainer takes you on a journey of surprising flavours, prepared with care, precision, and creativity. Local South Tyrolean products are at the heart of every dish – chosen for their outstanding quality and to keep transport routes short.
Meanwhile, the children are pampered every evening with their very own kids’ buffet, and guests with gluten-free or lactose-free diets will also find a true gourmet paradise in our family resort.

Enjoyment from early morning to late evening

Your day at the Familienhotel Rainer begins in comfort and flavour: stroll past the breakfast buffet, pick a few sweet bits, a few savoury bits, and relish every bite.
Energised, you’ll set off on an active day in the Dolomites. At lunchtime, pick from an à la carte menu in summer or enjoy a fantastic live-cooking experience in winter. From 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., help yourself to the complimentary cake buffet.
Then, in the evening, things become truly refined. Take your seat in one of the cosy dining rooms and enjoy an à la carte menu, accompanied by an extensive salad and vegetable buffet, cold starters, a selection of cheese, and desserts – all part of Rainer’s half board.

Rainer’s homemade bread

Have you discovered our in-house mill? Rescued from decline in Kartitsch, East Tyrol, in 1992, it was dismantled and rebuilt in Sexten, just behind the Familienhotel Rainer. Once a week, flour is ground here just as it was 100 years ago – and turned into authentic Rainer bread.
Enjoy it as part of a hearty South Tyrolean “Marende” with speck, cheese, and a glass of red wine (or juice for the little ones). A sociable afternoon to remember!

Only the best
for your little ones

When it comes to the well-being of children and parents, nothing is left to chance – especially not culinary enjoyment. From Monday to Friday, we offer a supervised lunch for children, included in the half-board rate (or €15 per child for guests in self-catering apartments).
Every evening from 7:00 p.m., young guests can look forward to a varied, healthy children’s buffet full of their favourites. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy antipasti and starters while listening to their kids recount the day’s adventures. From 7:30 p.m., little ones can head back to Raini Kid’s World for evening childcare – giving you the time to savour your dinner in peace.
