An absolute highlight for all climbing enthusiasts is climbing a summit. Joe the mountain guide accompanies all climbing freaks on tours or via ferrata. An unforgettable experience - also bookable as a family activity! The first climbing experiences for kids from 5 years is the half-day climbing school including snack and equipment € 50 per person .The kids do exercises on the rock ,practice a via ferrata and they have sure a lot of fun.
South Tyrol is a fantastic adventure world which your children can explore during the extraordinary Nature Programme by Familienhotels Südtirol. The main theme for 2024 is “NaturArt – Ella and Max follow in artists’ footsteps”. It revolves around preparing paints from plants and soil pigments, creating nature collages, and gilding materials, so that kids can play their way to becoming artists out in nature.
Together with our professionally trained nature educators, the little natural artists learn where the art form “land art” comes from, how to create stunning artworks from natural materials and work with the laws of nature, and how to use contrasts and change dimensions. Techniques used include layering, stacking, inserting, placing, tying, glueing … and even gilding! The highlight of the art sessions is the closing vernissage, during which all the artworks are viewed as part of a group.
Spend the night in the hay - a highlight for the whole family! Sleeping outdoor under the stars! We provide our hay barn with sleeping bag, headlamps and sleeping pads. Before going to bed, enjoy the sunset the campfire and roast a few apples on the fire.
Our alpacas also this year will accompany us when we are out for the family hike. For the first time the young animals - latte and macchiato - will also come with us. Let's see if they hike well. As always the kids can help to lead the alpacas along the way.
This year we will bake our bread again at the Rainer Mill. We will taste it afterwards with a homemade cream cheese.
We visit the Unterlander farm where we can ride a small round, we can also groom the horses and visit the lot of other animals.

Beginners’ courses are held Monday to Friday between 10.00 and 12.30, by various ski instructors of the Sesto Ski School. The youngest learners start on the magic carpet on the slope immediately in front of the hotel, while advanced learners set off with their skis to Croda Rossa or Monte Elmo. Please register and pay for the ski courses directly at the hotel.

Between Monday and Friday, after the morning ski courses, children can have lunch at the supervised table (€ 15 drinks included). There is then a schedule of fun and games at the fantastic “World of Raini”. These activities are also held outdoors in the afternoon, weather permitting. We therefore offer to look after your children all day for 5 days a week so that you, the parents, can go skiing with complete peace of mind.
