In particular, climbing excursions taking in the legendary Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks of Lavaredo) and the many climbing tracks around Sesto are a promise of adventure in a fascinating natural landscape. Climbing enthusiasts, beginners and children alike will be able to test their skills at the climbing training centres in and around Sesto, or at the “Dolomitarena Sexten”, one of the tallest indoor climbing facilities in Italy.
Joe, owner of the Hotel Rainer, is a professional climber of the Tre Cime (Three Peaks) Mountaineering School and will be happy to accompany you on a hike to the most beautiful peaks of the Sesto Dolomites. Anyone who loves the mountains is guaranteed an ideal tour in this UNESCO Natural Heritage site that will live on in their memory forever.
In order to introduce rock-climbing to children, there is a half-day introductory climbing course once a week, either directly at the rock face or at the climbing centre, depending on the weather (50 Euro, equipment included).
