Farming cultural heritage

Wheat grinding as it was done 100 years ago by our grandfathers. A very special experience that takes place once a week in our own mill, in front of the 4* Rainer Hotel. The fully functional mill, has been taken apart in Kartitsch, Western Austria in 1992, Mrs Rainer’s birthplace. It has then been faithfully reassembled on our resort’s premises. Not only we use it to grind wheat but also to bake our home bread, which of course you’ll taste during a traditional speck and cheese snack with a good glass of red wine! A happy social afternoon not to be missed!
